Trail Day Log

A short printable log for a single day on dirt. It is the page you fill at the trailhead and again when the truck is back on pavement, so the next trip starts from what the road actually did.

There is no checkout on this page. The form logs your email so the studio can write when the file is for sale. Stripe is the planned processor. It is not connected.

Inside the file

  • A one-day spread: route, rig, weather, start and end towns
  • Tire pressures on pavement and on dirt, plus fuel and odometer
  • Surface and obstacle notes, including the spot you turned around
  • A small photo index so the pictures have a place name later
  • A half page called “what I would tell a friend”
  • Three copies of the day page, enough for a long weekend
  • Letter-size pages you can print, or the same prompts in any notes app

What the file is for

Most trip notes die in a camera roll. The log is biased toward the facts that change the next drive: where you aired down, where the shelf got narrow, where the water was too murky, which camp already existed, and what time you wish you had started.

It is not a guidebook and it does not rate trails for you. You write the day you had. SunsetRock Trails directory notes stay on the site. This file is yours.

How it is built

The pages are spare on purpose. A full journal is easy to ignore at a windy pullout. Each spread fits on a clipboard. The prompts use plain language: pressures, fuel, surface, people, and the thing you would text a friend.

When the file is actually for sale it will be a PDF from SunsetRock Studio LLC. The shop button on this page does not take payment yet. Leave an email if you want a note when checkout opens.
